We tried out Vernon Worthen park first to see what the good 'ol city of St. George had to offer for festivities. Answer: Not a whole lot!
It was pretty disappointing. Really. So we headed over to Ivins. Should have gone there first. It was awesome. They had bounce houses, swings, Ferris wheel, homemade slip 'n' slide, kits from Home Depot, and food booths. We had lots of fun until Logi got so tired we had to head home.

Marshmallow Fondant

I like making fun cakes for my kids and just because. I'm definitely not professional but I have lots of fun trying. I've played a little bit with fondant and wanted to make a fondant cake for Kass for her birthday. However, fondant is expensive and not very tasty. I looked up how to make marshmallow fondant and I must say it tasted much better and was super easy to make. It doesn't work as well for making things like flowers or other things because it's not quite as firm as regular fondant but it looks just as great on the cake.

It's great to be 8

Kassidee was baptized June 5th. I am so proud of this little girl and the choices that she has made. Way to go Kass! You rock!
She had such a great day and was glad to have so much of her family there to support her.
I felt really bad because Logan started throwing a tantrum near the end of her confirmation and I missed the last part. I'm thankful that my mom-in-law wrote out most of what Matt had said in the blessing he gave her.

Logi and Grandpa



A trip to grandma and grandpa B"s just wouldn't be complete without dressing up and having a tea party. I love that my mother-in-law does this with the kids. The princesses espcially love to dress up. I think it's what Kass looks forward to the most besides playing card games. It's always so much fun to go visit.

Pine Valley Picnic

Jamin and Karen's family came to town for Kass's baptism so we decided to have a picnic in Pine Valley the day before. Good times!



We roasted hotdogs and huge marshmallows.

It's so hard to find good help like this anymore.

Logan and Liberty loved throwing stuff in the stream and then screaming at the top of their lungs. Fun for everyone and everything but our ears of course!


Libby was so proud of herself for crossing the stream all by herself.
